Chicken Gyros

Ingredients:
- Tomatoes (sliced)
- Onions (sliced)
- Pita bread
- Halloumi (optional)
- Cucumber
- Yoghurt
- Garlic
- Olive oil
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
- Lemon juice
Directions:
- Cut the potatoes into straight 1cm thick chips and fry them until golden brown.
- Slice the tomatoes and onions.
- Warm the pita bread in toaster, oven or microwave.
- Add grated halloumi cheese for extra flavour (optional).
For the Tzatziki sauce:
- Grate the cucumber.
- Press the water out of the grated cucumber to remove excess moisture.
- Add to a bowl.
- Add yoghurt, garlic, lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper, then mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. The leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
