What's the inspiration behind Peacock’s Ice Cream?

Jennifer arrived in Glasgow in 1999 on a university exchange programme, where she fell in love with the city and its people.  So much so that she returned in 2006, meeting her Glaswegian husband, George, and settled permanently.

With the aim of lifting local spirits during lockdown, Jennifer started selling small batches of ice cream to friends and neighbours from her flat in 2020.  The response from the community was overwhelming, and thanks to their continued support, Peacock’s Ice Cream has become an established South Side ice cream stop.

With a choice of homemade cones, you can enjoy their ice cream on the go or buy larger tubs to take home and share…. or not!  Options include signature flavours, as well as speciality batches showcasing seasonal ingredients and a spin on classics.  You can also find a selection of independent Canadian coffee and chocolate brands.
